Obituary of Jean Marie Henning

Henning, Jean M. age 90 years, passed away Friday evening, December 29, 2023 at Brian’s House with her family at her side. Jean was born on August 20, 1933 in Saginaw, MI the daughter of the late Emerson and Elsie (Dengler) Peart. She was united in marriage to Clarence Henning, Jr. on June 24, 1966; he preceded her in death on February 26, 2015. Jean was a very faithful and longtime member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She was a legal secretary for Rousseau & Rousseau; retiring after 38 years. Jean loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Jean was the wind beneath the wings of her surviving children; Terri (David) Zimmerman, Robert (Janice) Beets and Douglas Beets; grandchildren, Sarah J. Humerickhouse, Broc E. Beets and Zachary M. Beets; several great grandchildren:  sister in-laws; Barbara Peart and Carolyn Henning, niece and Angel on earth Debra Rousseau and many other nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Clarence, Jean was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherie Lee Beets; brother, George Peart and Arthur Peart; and sister, Louise Walker.

FUNERAL: Funeral services for Jean will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State St.) Saginaw, MI 48603 with Rev. Fr. John Mancini to officiate. Interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Garden.

VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to visit Deisler Funeral Home on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
