Obituary of Janice Ann Stahl

Stahl, Janice A. of Freeland, Michigan, passed away Friday morning, December 29, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was 86 years old. Janice was born on December 2, 1937 the daughter of late Gus and Freida (Eurich) Zednick. She was united in marriage to Daniel Stahl on August 8, 1959 in Saginaw; he preceded her in death on May 24, 2012.

Janice enjoyed quilting, painting; she had quite an artist eye. She also enjoyed fishing and traveling. But most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.

Janice is survived by her children; Ann (William) Berg and Daniel (Dana) Stahl, Jr.; three grandchildren; Chelsea Berg, Madison (Kale) Schafer and Daniel (Estefany Velazquez) Stahl III, great-grandson; Zednick Schafer, sister: Kathy (Jim) Seidel and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband Daniel, Janice was preceded in death by a grand-daughter; Maggie Danielle Stahl.

FUNERAL: Celebration of life service will take place at 6:30 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd, (off State St.) with Kale Schafer to officiate.

VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to gather at Deisler Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
