Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at HealthSource-Saginaw. She was 87 years old. Joyce Anne Hausbeck was born on June 19, 1936 in Saginaw to the late Dorothy (House) and Melvin Hausbeck. Joyce graduated from Saginaw High School, and then she enlisted with the United States Air Force, were she proudly served her country. She married Louis Davis on November 11, 1988. Joyce worked for the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center and the Department of Defense for over 37 years and retired on September 3, 1994. She was a faithful member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Joyce loved to camp up north and spend time with her family.  

Joyce is survived by her husband, Louis Davis; children: David (Lisa) Pender and Kevin (Carol) Pender of Saginaw; stepdaughter: Debie Kirtpatrick of Indiana; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; many extended family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Dorothy Hausbeck and her step-son, Rick Davis.

Joyce’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of HealthSource-Saginaw and Heartland Hospice for all of the care and support that they provided to Joyce and her family.

FUNERAL: A funeral service for Joyce will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State), Saginaw, MI  48603. Private burial will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with military honors under the auspices of the United States Air Force.

VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m.
