Pat Theuer passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 in her beloved home in the arms of her children just as she had wished. She was 92 years old. She lived a full, healthy, vibrant and event-filled life and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Pat’s adventurous spirit and energy touched not only the lives of her family, but served as inspiration to friends, neighbors and her community as well.

Pat’s passions in life (outside of her children and grandchildren) were golf, skiing, card games (which she won with irritating regularity), travel, observing nature in her backyard and hosting friends and family in her beautiful home. She was blessed with a long, healthy life to pursue those passions.

Patricia Rupert Theuer was born to Edward Jackson and Emma Levegood Rupert on June 18, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a graduate of Lakewood High School and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where she was affiliated with Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Pat was active in Saginaw General Hospital Auxiliary (Covenant), Woman’s National Farm and Garden Association and Assistance League of Saginaw. She was a member of Otsego Ski Club, Saginaw Club and Saginaw Country Club where she was a 2-time 18 Hole Ladies Club Champion. Pat was fortunate to score 4 hole in ones in her golf career (much to the chagrin of her son…who still has none).

She is survived by her daughter Kathy Theuer (Laurie) Sonora, CA, son, John Theuer (Judy) of Westchester, CA, and Grandsons Jackson Theuer and Joseph Theuer. She was proceeded in death by her brother John Edward Rupert of Lakewood, Ohio and her husband Fred G. Theuer.  

In keeping with Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date (but never on Thursday which is bridge day).
