Obituary of Robert J. Lee
Lee, Robert J. “Bob”
Saginaw Twp., Michigan
Our loving husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Brian’s House, surrounded by his family. He was 91 years old. Robert “Bob” J. Lee was born on November 17, 1930 in Saginaw to the late Raymond James and Marie J. (Thomas) Lee. Bob worked for his dad at their metalizing plant when he was young. He then honorably served his country with the United States Army, during the Korean War with the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles. He met the love of his life on a blind date, and when he returned to Saginaw, he married Arlene A. Roeglin on August 7, 1954 at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Zilwaukee. Together they celebrated 67 years of marriage. Bob then worked for General Motors as a 3rd shift, skilled trade’s journeyman, retiring on November 1, 1995 after 31 years of service. Bob took great pride in his yard. He enjoyed visiting the casino, hunting, fishing, playing cards, going to Higgins Lake and most of all spending time with his family.
