WOHLFEIL, William F. of Saginaw, Michigan passed away Saturday, April 07, 2012 at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Center. He was 91 years old. He was born May 12, 1920 in Saginaw to the late William F. and Gertrude (Diekman) Wohlfeil. He married Helen P. Block on May 29, 1947; she survives him. William served in the Army during WWII in the 15th Air Corps. He was stationed in Africa and Italy. William and his wife owned Wm. F. Wohlfeil Electric for over 30 years until his retirement in 1984. William was a member of Electricians Union Local 557. He was also a member in good standing at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Bill and Helen enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. and many foreign countries. After retirement, he spent hours crafting fine cabinets and toys for his children and grandchildren. Surviving, besides his loving wife of 64 years, are two daughters: Paula (Bill) Braddy and Jackie (Dick) Bushway; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. William was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. FUNERAL: In accordance with William's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5335 Brockway Rd. Rev. Mark Buckert will officiate. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice.
