Obituary of Aline Zeigler

Aline Zeigler, age 82, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, entered into eternal life on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw. The daughter of Porter and Lillie Bell Bledson, Aline was born on August 19, 1943, in Prattville, Alabama.

Aline was a compassionate mother and fantastic friend who was always easy to converse with. She loved to listen and dance to music, and enjoyed several game shows daily, including The Price Is Right and Let’s Make A Deal.  She was known for being an excellent cook and baker, making the best corn bread in town. Aline will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Aline was a strong believer in Christ and loved the Lord, attending church when she could. This brings her family comfort knowing she is in heaven.

Aline is survived by her beloved children, Yvonne Ray, Jesse Zeigler and Diantha (Don) Johnson; grandchildren, Lamar Ziegler, James Ray, Devone Ray, Aline Richardson, Bioncca Walker, Devine Johnson, Cecelia Zeigler, Jesse Zeigler, Jr., Demarcus Zeigler, Sabrina Zeigler, Marvin Zeigler, Jr., Larry Bledson, Jr.; several great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Parham, Lula Lyons, Henry Bledson, Sandy Bledson, and Nathaniel Bledson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Larry Bledson and Marvin Zeigler; grandsons, Gregory Haynes and Bryson Walker; and brother, Porter Bledson.

A visitation will take place Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, 3121 Sheridan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48601. Pastor Ford will officiate.

Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saginaw, Michigan following services.

Family and friends are invited to join in a repast at the home of Aline’s sister, Lula.
